Hi all,

Just wondering what a good set of pressures is for my 996, it's a C2 with the -10mm Sport chassis setup. It's running on Turbo 1's/18" - 285/30 rear 225/40? front.

In the fuel flap the pressures are supposed to be 36 front and 44 rear..

Is that right?! Seems awfully high. I've tried them and makes the car feel a bit skittish. Any suggestions?

Cheers,
LL

I used to have a C2 996 with sports suspension etc, and that pressures do ring a bell.
Yes it seems high but don't remember having any problems, I'd just double check if the pressures are for hot or cold tyres, as this will make a difference.

On top of that can anyone recommend a high quality pressure tester and provide a link? Most of the ones you can buy at Halfords etc are cr*p.

ive got the same set up but with the gt3mk1 18inch alloys, 36-44 is correct for road.
