Carcoon for the winter

As soon as the first salt goes on the roads, mine will be going in a carcoon for the winter. Will be the first time in a carcoon for a long period. Anyone tried them, if so, is there anything else to do to the car besides attaching the trickle charger, for example is it best to keep the accusump charged or discharged ?
