Anthem for LT2006

[V-GOM]

As we have a long run up from Devon, I'm trying to compile a good driving CD. I want one specific track to play at full belt whilst trundling around the smoke. The best I can come up with is:

Let's Work Together - Canned Heat

Any other suggestions? If we can get concensus it would be good for everyone to bang it out.

Also to add to the CD maybe:

Thunder in Paradise by BassHunter
Days of Thunder soundtrack: Gimme some lovin' by Spencer Davis Group
God of Thunder by Kiss
Thunder Road by Bruce Springsteen
Something in the Air by Thunderclap Newman
Thunder in Paradise:Beam vs Cyrus by DJ Scott

I predict a riot by the Kaiser Chiefs.

Try playing it and NOT driving like a loon

In fact, the first half a dozen tracks (except for the girly track 5 You Can Have It All) are brilliant for cranking up in the TVR when you are feeling like a hooligan.

AC/DC...For those about to rock. Could be the perfect lyrics.

Thats a good one - just turning the volume up to the necessary level now!

As the final track, looking to the future... On Days Like These by Matt Munro

[neilboyd]

Or how about:
Def Leppard - Run Riot
Transvision Vamp - Revolution Baby

(I would also have suggested a stack of early nineties dance tracks, but I suspect most of you wouldn't recognise them....!)

I'm going for a combination of loud rock and loin-stirring nostalgia, which will include

Land of Hope and Glory
Jerusalem
Carmina Burana (old spice advert)
These just get me so fired up

as well as
Meatloaf (Bat out of Hell)
ZZ Top
Deep Purple (Smoke on the Water)
Motor Head (Ace of Spades!)

I'm going to have to go and lie downn now
(Iknow, i'm an old phart

Van Halens Panama - not too obvious until you play it - and yeah - it just rocks!
