hi everyone

I'm very close to buying a TVR Tuscan this is my first TVR . the only problem is that the car can't be register in my country ,so what i did is that i arranged with the dealer who's selling me the car to register it in the UK before shipping it to me, but now they're saying that it can't be done unless i have a valid address in the UK
so to everyone with knowledge about this subject, my question is "is it possible for someone who doesn't live in the UK to register a car in his name?"

so guys anyone with a solution or a suggestion please speak up

thanks in advance

Surely the selling dealer could register at their address before you do the transfer out of the country, after all you're paying a lot of £s for the car.

If they can't make the sale work, I'm sure there are other dealers who will.

How about purchasing a mailbox address? They'll even forward the mail for you.
www.mbe.uk.com/

Just register the car to the mail box address in what ever town you choose.

I have a similar problem but about buying a preowned Chimaera: to register the car in Italy is required a technical statement (with the details not included in V5, as EU emission compliance rule etc.).
This official statement has to be released a) from TVR, or b) from UK registration office.
Somebody knows where I can obtain it ?
Thanks
