Brake discs and pads

For our 1998 Carrera 4 996 . Best place to buy and best make to use ? Porsche service centre want loads and as I'm a bit miffed with them ( thats another story ) I feel like spending my money elsewhere and maybe even saving some . Would sooner use genuine parts .

Hi there I have a 98 996 and just had mine done front and back. I got the parts from Design 911 they sell porsche parts for a lot less than porsche. I was guided away from the cheaper pattern parts by my mechanic who said that they can be noisier. £89.00 for a front disk if I remember rightly. Get your local mechanic to fit them If your near Bucks I can give you the details of a man who can or near SE London. Cheers
