Sill damage - New Beetle?
Discussion
Can anyone give advice as to how easy/difficult it would be to repair damage to a sill on the new Beetle? I know sills are integral to the cars strength and am thinking it won't be possible to get behind to push any damage out? This is the actual damage:
It's in this location but on the opposite (passenger) side of the car:
Would it be possible to repair in this position or would it be a full replacement? Could it be pulled out?
Any advice much appreciated.

Its not a horrendous job. We would use pins welded to the sill and a slide to pull the dent out. If it needed a bit more force than a clamp and pull using chains and hydraulic rams.
If it required replacing then the sill is only £32.36 plus VAT but Thatcham gives a guide time of 14.3 hours to complete the job.
This will be beyond the capabilities of your dent-devil/chips away/dent master folks.
