One of the 'problems' of having 2 passengers for my Chim is I have to go out twice to satisfy - shame I know.

So Sunday morning was with the lad - bright and sharp (weather, not lad!) - roof off, burbling our way up the A32 to Alton, the A31 then A272 and country lanes via B Waltham and Botley to home.

Magic

Then some lunch - light of course

Next off with the wife on the grand Dorset tour over to Verwood first to 'collect' daughter's partner on his Yam R6 thence to Sixpenny Handley, Zig Zag hill, back to Blandford (part company with the Yam) and on to the 'chase' road to Salisbury - a top up with 99 octane at Tescos then the A30, Stockbridge, Winchester and home.

200 absolutely magic miles, no problems, no worries and still showing almost half a tank of go-juice left despite some energetic driving at times.

only saw 2 other TVRs, both S's - guess you were all elsewhere - but this kind of day is what makes this newbie TVR owner realise he has made the right decision to buy his Chim.

I look forward to many more days like today - at this rate I'll be doing about 20k miles in the TVR this year.

B*ll*x to HMG and any fecking climate taxes - I'll happily pay them to continue having days like today.

It's all my way of saying to the world - look I own a TVR, screw the bad news, Ive got an absolute beaut of a car and its good to belong!!

Thank you Blackpool!

There are so many threads amoungst the doom and gloom threads on here that make me so determined to buy a TVR.
This is another one...
The outcome of the moves stability of the company etc, will only change what age of car I buy.

It is so true you buy the grin factor.
