Can't believe it after a totally memorable day on Friday in Blackpool, decided to take the Tiv out for a quick run on the Saturday morning when on a clear carriageway a black Audi A4 decides to overtake the only other vehicle on the road(without any indication) just when I'm about to pass......end result car locks, back end steps out and hits the centre reservation kerb and car goes into spin, mounts centre reservation and slides towards lampost at scary speed, hits lampost and lands on the opposite carriageways outside lane.......and guess what no Audi to be seen furious

.... so after get patched and stitched up at the Hospital and looking like a close relative of John Merrick, went to see the car which is pretty FUBAR, arrives home logs on to PH and straight into the Pistonheads TVR classifieds(missus reckons I have issues!!!), no way am I gettin beat by a German, so if you know of any immaculate MK1 Cascade Tussy S's for sale give me a shout......

...and also just to add considering the impact speed I think it bears testament to the design and strength of TVR's of how little damage was caused, even the local traffic Police attending where surprised.

Thanks for the kind words

....regarding the car, to be honest I think it going to be written off, besides the bodywork and the cost of a respray, steerings totally gone, all wheels are knackered with one of the rears snapped, have'nt seen the underside but I suspect it ain't to pretty...hopefully if they do write it off I can buy it back and strip it for parts(for me future Tuscans), she really was immaculate before the accident..gutted!!

...and whats more, I think my modeling career and any chance of winning Prettyboy 2007 are totally buggered rolleyes

That’s it...always focus on the positive, I’m very lucky to get away relatively unscathed, the car can (and will) be repaired/replaced, and I've got one of them cool fashion scars on my eyebrow to boot, bonus.... only downside, it's really compounded my dislike for them soulless Bavarian road barges even more curse

If it's written off, can you retain the plate?

Be careful about the plate !! Ins co will (technically) own it so try and get it transferred NOW before they conclude it is a write off.
