I only know of a reasonably well-built Chinese model of the defunct M14 - regularly on eBay

No M12 models know, AFAIK

its a shame there are none on the market - when i used to be a design engineer i helped pioneer a technique called stereo lithography

basically a 3d cad file creates a plastic model from lasers and plastic resin

if somebody can get hold of a 3d model of the car - I may be able to get it some made up if i pull a few strings with some contacts

what some of the model makers do is exaggerate some of the lines of the cars to make them look more in character

I'd be surprised if the body of the noble was modeled (and even more surprised if you could get your hands on it!) but I'd like to be proven wrong!!

There were actually a couple of attempts to make models over the last couple of years. In fact the last person to do so had purchased the original prototypes and was using my car to get dimensions and took many pictures as well. Sad to say it never materialized and he scrapped the project.

it was something i got involved in in the early 90's - the models could be used to make a cast from - so yes it was used for rapid prototyping

basically the untraviolet light in the lasers set the resin hard and the model was built up very slowly layer by layer

Hi Guys

A couple of weeks back I was in Hamleys looking for an M12 model, managed to chat to the Corgi rep who said they are making an M15 but no M12's

However, he said if there was enough demand and Lee gave it the thumbs up then they could easily produce them....
