I wish that I had:

1) Had the joy of doing "donuts" in his Lambo

2) Had him trash may car

3) Had him publicly admit to criminal damage and watch him get jailed

4) Got my fizzog in the paper.

As it was someone else I couldn't care less.

nice to see a PHer utilising their reading skills before posting.

the car that was trashed was the owned by the guy who Bam felt had damaged his Lambo, or at best had used the car without his permission.

can't help feeling that if anyone of us had owned a Gallardo that a friend had taken out without our permission and started doing donuts, it wouldn't of been his 306 that got trashed.

Haaaannng on!

The guy is called Dan Joyce (google his name).

He was in Cardiff when I was at Uni. Him and his mates Poncho and some other guys make a show called Dirty Sanchez (Basically a welsh version of Jackass).

Its just publicity/silliness.

im pretty sure he is also a professional skater.
but you can see why he would be upset at somone donughting his car without permission. i would deffinatly have been annoyed in a similar situation. i just wonder if it was coincidence he was on his way to do some further promo work and therefore more the motivation

I saw that car being exhibited at Mhttp:// on Saturday.

I didn't understand the reasoning behind it then, and I still don't.

Has society and our "entertainment" sunk so low that watching the wanton vandelism of a car is good fun?

Beyond pathetic.

Thats right, it broke down after the abuse they'd given it, so they p!$$ed on it and left it there.

I'd like to think if I was well enough to be able to urinate on a Lambo I owned, I'd have a bit more sense, but probably not hehe

I think we are both on the same page - I understood the same as you as to what happened. But I also spotted the double irony of a bloke, having got rich from smashing things up and acting like a purile tt, getting arsey because someone did the same and broke his car; THEN feeling the right thing to do was to dowse the "offender's" car with paint (presumably also without permission). I can only think his parents didn't have a handy enough line in "two wrongs don't make a right" and "do not do to others what you wouldn't want done to yourself" type morality tales. Where I come from, such characters would have been made social pariahs and rightly be on first name terms with the local coppers, not opening films and driving Lamborghinis. Where's the morality tale in that?

This smacks of a publicity stunt for an adolescent film suggesting a rather bleak future, rather than having any other real point to it. And if there is another point, I am not sure it is one that anyone who isn't a no hope teenage delinquent would really much care for.
