Doh! Can Anyone Help?

Just took the battery out of the boot to recharge and closed the bloody boot! I believe there is a way to get back in without power and wondered if asnyone could email me to let me know.

You can power the boot release VERY carefully via the cigar lighter. Be careful not to short out the live feed by touching it on the body of the lighter. I used to supply a lead with a cigar lighter accesory plug on either end so you could plug it into the cigar lighter of another car(one custeomer used to phone me on a monthly basis)and usually at 7am asking how to get in the boot with a flat battery so I supplied him with this lead and never heard from him again. If you are unsure ask someone who is , you could burn out the alternator if you short the cigar lighter out. sTeVeR

Or take the boot release relay out and stick 12v across the output teminals from an external battery. Or the most convenient way, just tap 12v onto the alternator output terminal with the ignition switched on and the boot release buton held down. You can do that easily with a pair of jump leads with the earth lead connected onto the alternator mount.
