Hey, were you one of the 500 cars I passed yesterday, registration year 1993 to 2006.

If so, just wanted to say, you should pay more attention to other road users, you may have caused an accident with your rigid enforcement of the national speed limit.

Yes the limit is 70, but if you are driving a diesel Vauxhall Frontera and you are sitting behind a Carbon Disced Lambo, the two second rule isn't going to save you when he/she slams on the anchor.

Sorry, just wanted to have a rant, it seems all non Porsche owner/drivers are nobs, not sure which forum to post on, so thought I would post it on one of the civilised ones.

I'm a non Porsche owner, looking to buy one. But I am a Caterham R300 owner, so I suppose in your eyes that makes me a knob!!

But I bet I could stop faster than you Love to meet you on a track as well !

Sorry mate, I'm straight.

Even if you had a Bugatti Veyron, you would still be a nob.

I don't make the rules, I just abide by them.

banghead Sometimes I wonder whether my sense of humour is too obtuse.....

Talking about stopping power (the whole point of my initial postrolleyes) Is this because you are more talented than me, or because you think the brakes on your car are better than the brakes on my car?

I don't wish to start an argument (even though I think my brakes are better)would just like to know what the challenge is again, 100-0? 110-0? 120-0? I could go on, but sadly you can't.....

if you hang around long enough youll see the porsche forum on PH has the highest piss take per member of all the PH forums.

most on here couldnt give a what others think, we like our cars (i like most cars to be fair) but when somone comes in bibbing about "a nob driving a porsche" most of the time its with spite and jelousy (happens all the time latley) and we just wind them up for the fun of it.

even if you dont drive a brand car, most on here couldnt give two hoots, I understand there is a stigma attached to owning somthing but most of the regulars here are not stuck up pricks, we just like cars and happen to own a car, and dont really care what its called its more about the drive.

what Porsche are you looking to buy out of interest?

I was thinking about a 993, but a 996 is a distinct poss as well. Have been keeping an eye on 911virgin.com for quite a while, but like all car marques, I need to gen up on which 911 to look out for.

Know Caterhams very well, but 9 years ago I knew sod all about them, and now I am a 911 virgin so to speak

Hoping to meet some of you at the BT&P do!

Just ask hundreds of questions, I love 993s but never had one, strange I know!

The guys on here will help you.

Once you know what you want, take your time finding it (I spent 6 months looking for mine)

oh, thats a bit unfair. there have been some lovely ones here lately. there was that nice chap with the Fiat who was upset when a cayenne came sniffing round his girlfriends rear, he was really nice, and interesting, then that nice RS6 chap today who refrained from creaming the 911 driver (even though he could have without breaking a sweat) and wanted us all to know that the 911 driver was a knob but none of the rest of us were by association. i think you should learn to be more tolerant, and perhaps just take things a tad more seriously. Life isnt just for living, you know

Oi Testarossa,

I think I was one of the drivers you overtook while I was in my X5.

Your car is sooo slow - my mates's 735i could beat that......

No offence taken as one of the millions of people that drive something else.

Personally I find that most drivers are numpties.

I drive a C reg Mk2 Cavalier Sri (1.8e 8V - same engine as astra GTE mk1) which cost next to nothing (£40 it cost 2 years back). I find that most people in expensive cars (and I mean anything that is worth more than £1000) get in my fecking way.

Mind you I've never had a problem with anyone in a Porsche Getting in my way, they move over as soon as they spot my Pickey looking heap in their mirrors - seems they have some sense- so maybe you have a point

Damn right, A GT2 is quick but a 735 (highly polished if I say so myself) is much much faster!

Listen give me the car for a day, let my clay it, why are we talking here????
