OCTOBER COMP - RESULTS ARE IN
Discussion
Roll up, roll up, the judging has taken place and here are the results. I did enlist the help of my sous-judge, Mrs CVP, in the judging just to make sure I wasn't being swayed by some of the subject matter
First of all I'll just say there were some wonderful takes on my slightly odd topic of shape so well done all. There were also some lovely ones in the ongoing thread which did not get entered into the official thread e.g. cy88's 911 with most of the shape removed which I thought was an interesting image.
So the top three in reverse order are
3rd place - olf with this one
I like it because it's an interesting interior shot and an angle I think you'd have to actually look at the building to see and most folk would not notice.
2nd place - Mr Bacchus180 with this beautifully lit nude
This one I like because IMHO it's really beautifully lit and shows the lovely shape of (a very nice) female body and as this is a photo competition for me lands the right side of the fine line between a tasteful image and "reader's wives".
and the winner is...

I do love the shapes here of the starfish all jumbled up on one another.
Well done to all and Chris, drop me an email through my profile and this month's small prize will be winging it's way to you.
Cheers

Thank you very much! Thats two runners up in two entries! Am I doing something wrong or something right!? I'm not sure.
Thanks again and glad you liked it, the building is the Guggenheim gallery in NYC and is a real feast for the shape-o-philes!
