Hey

I just wanted to post a positive thread (its my first!) that despite everything that is going on - I still love TVRs. I really feel for everyone related to the TVR factory, and I hope their circumstances improve soon.

I am hoping to afford a TVR next year (will be 25) so will be keeping my eyes out for a Chim or Griff to get me started. I am nearly there now...I drive a Corrado so at least we share some parts

In the meantime, how many people are TVR owners around the Manchester area?

If you think you love them now just wait till you've got one, life can't get much better.

Join the TVR Car Club...it's a car club not an owners club...you don't need to have a TVR, to love them is sufficient...Manchester Meet is 2nd tues in month at 'Home' (formerly Stafford Arms' Little Bollington exit j7 M56 on A56 for 1 mile towards Lymm (1 mile)

Still think they are great, nothing beats seeing one rumbling buy on a sunny day.

Really hope all the current "stuff" get's sorted & TVR prospers without
detremental effect on current cars & owners

Hey Lippy - nice first post clap

Despite all the anxieties about TVR's future my feelings about my TVR haven't changed at all. It is simply the most involving car I've ever owned and I just can't imagine having as much fun in any other car. Owning a TVR after years of anticipation makes it easy to sense the distress that the TVR production staff must be going through at the moment. I know the guys will always get a kick out of seeing/hearing British TVRs on the road and I'm very disappointed not being able to drive up to Blackpool on Friday to show my support. Strangely I've taken to muttering "thanks guys!" when I switch off after driving the 450 - every journey is a delight and I really appreciate the significance of being part of the TVR family.
