AC Clutch wiring on LS engine

AC connector has two pins

Pin A is positive from AC clutch relay
Pin B is earth

Which one is Pin A - top or bottom.

My factory AC clutch has only the one (grey) connection. Earth being achieved through the body of the compressor.
Test the connections and see if either of them is also connected to the compressor body. If not then the clutch may operate connected either way round. Personally I would then offer it 12V and see what happens and if it requires the 12V in one direction only.
