Yeah - and most of the scenery is just blocks of dilapidated high rise . . .

Like the last one best ;-)

It'll soon be my fave time of the year for pics . . . winter ;-)

I'm also about to change my every day car - bmw 530d or landy defender . . .

Defenders eh? Just about the worst on-road car ever. But I won't sell mine.

(but I'd go for the 530!)

Where were the photos of the North coast taken? They look like they must be out West somewhere towards Melvich/Bettyhill/Tongue?

In a similar vein, where was the one across Loch Tay taken? I should recognise the place, we went on holiday there every year when I was a sprog!

Somewhere near Durness as I recall. Tongue was our first night's stop (it's north of Ben Loyal near the north coast, not the west) and we got to that coastline reasonably soon on our second day.

You won't recognise it, because it isn't Loch Tay I got two pics mixed up and should have realised simply because Loch Tay is freshwater and inland and not actually that big. That picture is the sea rofl It's Aultbea.

so where can we buy the postcard? Very nice indeed, above all the snowy ones.

On a Scotland note.

I was just sitting in the bar here in the West Highlands (It's raining and dark so the bar seemed the best place to be) and said to the young girl pouring out a dram:

"Where's the swear jar - it used to be here on the bar?"

"Some f*cker nicked it"

You couldn't make it up.
