No car again - not had time to finish putting lump back in after some minor tinkering!

yep the very same! All was fine just that std chevy SBC mounts are rubbish. Pulled apart after I had the big jump in power after 1500 miles on one side I think, but the other one must have lasted 8k+ miles more - must be all those ACE Rolling burnouts that I have a problem NOT doing! Could have just popped in the Mega poly racing ones I have tracked down (these babies ain't gi'in no where), but decided to pull away and up a tad from the filter on the passenger side exhaust area. Had to change the clutch line for the next size up to sort the problems that the big power Holdens have to. Decided not to change clutch as vertually no wear at all. Another half day to finish (engine and box in but load of ancillaries to hook up). But in parent garage and they are on hols!

Loads of house mods mean chimp is at the bottom of the list of things for next few weeks.

Christ not been able to light the tyres up for a few months - Polo is not the same!
