Whilst dutifully checking my oil for the first time, I managed to dislodge the cover of the fuse box, which has disappeared into oblivion inside the engine bay, so I need to get a replacement. I was told it is a Mini part, but didn't get any joy at the parts desk. Can anyone help? The car's a 2002 2.5 and it's the box with 4 blade fuses in it which has [had] a transparent cover on it. You can’t miss it, it's right above the dipstick

Nah mate it's under the engine next to the battery and that other bit of trim you dislodged.

Can't help with the part number - sorry!

Ha Ha - I tried for flippin' ages to find it, poking around with sticks etc but it had disappeared. Think it heard it tinkle out on the M4!

Ta - I'll take a look in the footwell.

My under engine undertray is missing BTW. I need to get a new one - Noble want £200. Although it just looks like a bit of aluminium sheet to me?? I think a trip to B&Q and some tin snips might do the job?
