Hi Guys,

I've got a flat battery, but no big deal as I have a zapper pack. Trouble is during the service last week the battery was removed, charged and refitted. And it looks like its been refitted backwards to how it was, so instead of the terminals facing the passenger seat they are now at the far end of the passenger footwell, and I can't get the zapper clips on as there's not enough room.

So I called the garage who said they thought my battery might have 4 terminals on it and there is a "handle" across the middle which allows you flip between the two sets. Does anyone who what this actually means as I dont have a clue, or perhapes a pic of such a battery to compare mine to?

If all else fails I'll call out Mr.RAC and get him to take out the battery and turn it around....

Never seen a battery with 4 terminals. Its easy to take the battery out, if it fixed to the floor through the battery box then its just two bolts from underneath, if its not fixed then it will just slide out. Ensure you get the + & - around the right way when you put it back.

Use a battery conditioner that plugs into the cigarette lighter.

Much easier.

Can't go the battery condition route as I have nowhere to plug it into

Ill ask the RAC to have a go, and if that fails then the garage will have to come out and sort it.
