Stratstone Ferrari Dealership
Discussion
As a poor student I can only dream about owning my first Ferrari.
To feed my desire for these cars I sometimes take a trip down the road to Stratstone Ferrari, Porsche and Maserati dealership to dribble over the exotica.
To my great supprise I went down yesterday and only Porsches were in sight, no sign of a 355 or 360 anywhere
THere was no staff about and I cant find the website, any idea where they have moved to or have they just lost the Maserati / Ferrari franchise?

Yes Rob,
Word is, the boys who deal with the footie stars in Manc land were getting peeved with their Maranellese masters' insistence on flogging the somewhat unloved, lame horse of tridential quotism, rather than just red 'uns.
Although not official, one of the guys who prepares my Sunday roast la bas has given me that indication.
However, I can't see it; I reckon it's got more to do with soaring Pork sales generally and the need to promote the infernal 4x4 contraption to the plethora of badly toupeed men and chronically over bossomed female gold chain wearing zillionares from the surounding environs...
I will be most upset if the red gee gees are no more at that place...I'll let you know if it is a relocation or a case of 'bugger orf, you dego dodos.'
A bientot.

They seem to have some stock there. I have noticed though, a lot of Ferrari dealers really pushing the Maserati's, hard.

Ah good; all is well in the bossom of the Red Devils' preferred stable of automotive pimping.
Seems that the Lippizaners of the car world are still being trained, albeit in temporary accomodation, just behind the pigsty and up to the left on the same industrial estate (where the joint service department used to be).
So there's still hope!
Btw, Comrade Maranello, cheers to your good self. {How's it going - not heard from you for a while?}
Ninja - aren't they a bit pricey?

DeR, gotta to echo Mara's words regards to your posts, I find them an interesting daily challenge.
I don't know about Stratstone being expensive, all these dealers are when its not their own stock (i.e. SOR) and believe me at the moment most of it ain't their own...
They had a 360 Spider there a couple of months back, going for 115, in red, with all the trimmings, it was that car or another one at Graypaul similar price... I VERY nearly took the plunge, but Andrew saved my bacon, and I'm very thankful to him for that.
Stratsone had a very nice 355 Spider in yellow R reg for £65K. Not a bad price I thought, until then saw one at another dealer for £60K
I'm sure anyone wishing to buy one at the moment can get a good deal.

Flying Trotter said: spoke to the sales manager about a potential porc purchase recently - he mentioned that they are exclusively porc at what was the main site - this is due to having moved the dancing donkeys to another new site over the road
Hmmmm.
Did not see anything over the road, or maybe I was blinded by the excitement of the prospect of seeing a red 355, cream leather, red, manual gearbox......
The ferrari dealership is temoprarily behind the porsche showroom, up the hill on the same side of the road. They're looking for new premises, apparently because of expansion of porsche dealership once the Cayenne arrives.
I test drove a 550 there a few weeks ago - £66k for 97 , Titanium with bordeaux, 14k miles...very tempted.
