Which of these two tyres is considered best on wet tarmac?

The Yoko A008 or the Yoko A032R.

Are we talking competition use here?
The 032 is really a competition tyre and, personally, I don't think it particularly suitable for normal mixed road conditions.

Having said, Falkens are terrible things, Camacs are actually quite good in mud and wet grass! A008's for dry only, O32R's are good in the wet but better dry. Dunlop SP70's are the stuff.

Personally, my mini is driven carefully in the wet as it is ing dangerous. No point in having special tyres, generally I run shitty old whatevers in the winter and some track tyres in the summer when the "track" is dry.

I run 32's front and 008's rear in the wet. With this setup I can induce mild oversteer, which is great fun.

Hi Chris

Just trying to decide what tyres to use in the wet for next season. Is that forward thinking? See you at Lydden, lets hope it's dry.
