You'd like to think so but No I just want to get rid of it and release a bit of cash.

I rebuilt the engine 6 months ago, its fresh with less than 2000 miles on it.

Dan, if I wasn't building a 16V jobbie myself, I'd buy it, it's a bargain. Having said a man needs a chat with himself when he sells his mini. Since it's only a few £K, you may as well throw a tarp over it and pretend it isn't there.

True enough but I could do with the £££ if i'm honest.

I will be sorry if it goes, but one day i'll build another without a doubt.

Dan - Mothball it/Don't sell it eek . If you get the bug again (we all do) it'll cost you a shed load more than 5K to build that car again (parts & labour). You might end up at a particular point in your life when you don't have the time to undertake a build like this again either (Young family etc). I know this may be a long way off..... tumbleweed

You WILL regret selling this monster.

If you need 5K - go see Mr Bank Manager..... Rates are so competitive! hehe

Dan, I regret selling a lot of virtually irreplacable stuff. Have a good think about that. Sure, you get a couple of grand in your hand but the stuff is worth so much more. I miss all sorts of stuff I could have just kept........

I know I know but trust me the money won't even see my hand....bills bills bills.

I will do it again one day, but for now I could do with the cash.

The next mini I build will be a KAD spaceframe with a kad motor....mark my words.

On minimania.com/msgthreads.com, there are people talking about breaking it for parts at that price.......

I considered it but I don't have the time or the inclination. I tried selling it before now for a little more but it seems that people weren't willing to pay, it was understandable as its a rather specialised sort of thing.

I thought about breaking it, i mean, theres nearly 15k of engine and gearbox in that car as it stands, but i'd rather just sell it as a running car. It'll give somebody a massive amount of pleasure, barring an unforseen disaster(its a 160hp a series after all ) there's no reason it shouldn't do thousands of miles before it needs any attention.
