Low entry trolly jack

I remember someone finding a good cheap trolly jack that was lower than 11cm, so it could fit under our cars easily.

Can someone please point me in the right direction as search is busted toady.

I got a 3 tonne pro jack after the Griff fell off my small trolley jack and broke my thumb, the bigger style jacks are hard to get under the car but I just drive onto a small block of wood first then the jack will go under quite easily, only need about 12" of 2x4 and the larger jacks are much more stable.

Greg - I've had one of these for about 4 yrs now and are absolutely fine for occassional use. Just remember you will need axle stands if you intend having the car in the air for any length of time (overnight). [Should use axle stands in all cases, I know]

I've got that jack and its pretty good. Just be careful with the reservoir hole as its aluminum thread and easily stripped

May get another one. I paid 120 quid for mine too and that was the cheapest at the time!

Got a pair of those Clarke jobs, makes it nice and easy to safely lift front or rear end of the car. Cheap and they do the job. As Rob says, axle stands a must if you're staying airborne for more than a couple of hours.

I've got a pair but don't see how to get them under the rear axles - no clearance when I tried. Just as well I have someone else doing the work now.

Seems a good package - do you think it lays flat enough for a Noble?

Looking back on this thread people say our cars sit 11.5 -12cm this jack says 11.6. So may just fit, or jus use a bit of wood.
