I was going to go check the spare tyre pressure today - but checked in the manual and it stated it should be 60 PSI!!!
Now that seems a tad high to me, being nearly double the standard tyres - i realise its a space saver - but are they really supposed to be that high?

Yes, normally 45-60psi dependant on load. You're lucky I have to pump mine up before I fit it !

For any given weight the smaller the footprint of the tyre the higher the air pressure needs to be.
I keep my mountain bike tyres at 50 psi. Range is 45-60 psi and they're alot smaller than your space saver !
