Throttle Cable (again)

Well TVR Parts seem to be having a problem with the manufacturing and cables are seemingly not approved yet.....
In the mean time I need one and wondered the origin of this cable i.e. Ford Escort '86? or where is it from. Is it standard Ford or modified?

I tried Ford earlier in the year - although the part is listed they are out of stock and not making anymore. It's got to be TVR Car Parts or someone like Speedycables making a copy from a master.

It was the standard Ford throttle cable for V6 2.9-engined cars: Sierra/Granada (not automatics - that cable has a switch for the kick-down on the auto 'box). Motorcraft part number 6720349.

The "Throttle Cable End Fitting" (gimble) was Motorcraft part number 6142979.
