Barn Find - Rotten Van

I store a lot of rubbish in a friend’s barn. Anyway also in this barn there are a few cars. Some good, some not so. In it there is a Mini Van that is either 1977 or 1979. It is rotten, been there for years and needs total restoration. Looks pretty original but couldn’t say for sure. I want to make the owner an offer. Are they worth anything in this condition?

Here it is.... where do they usually go? I dont think it has moved since 1998 as thats when the tax ran out.

Is it worth £300?

I'd say so Richard. In fact from the photos it's practically mint. My pick-ups were never that tidy and they had MOTs.....

5-600 I'd say, needs new floorpans but otherwise looks solid!

It is worth £300 in the real world... on Ebay however it would make £800 and over it does need some floor attention but it isnt bad by any means, make sure you get the floors done right as wrong it will kill the value of the van.... heres a photo of my Clubby Estate Vtec shell Im using... it does need a floor and a lot more besides...
