I have 2 cars that I consider to be "modern classics" and I want to insure then on limited mileage policies. Does anyone know of a company that will insure 2 or more cars on one policy? I already have a seperate policy for my "everyday" car but would prefer not to have 3 policies!

lol the old insurance problems!

I have the very same problem, every company I try to arrange something slightly unusual through seems totally uninterested, be it a trade, collection or multi car policy,.

However adrian flux have just given me a smashing quote on the 911!

Admiral do multicar policies - they can coincide the renewals so that all the cars renew at the same date - worth a try with an on-line quote. They came out pretty good on my 996 + 2 others....

I looked at Admiral Multicar today as I am about to add a BM 540i Touring to the fleet. As a sinlge vehicle the Admiral quoted the BM at £405 and when I did it as part of a multicar including my 996 and 'er indoors' Rangie the price for the 540 went to £375 so a saving of £30rolleyes
Mind you the Range Rover was £80 more than "More Than" and the 996 £160 more than Privilege.
So Admirals multicar policy would actually cost me £210 more than doing all 3 separatelynono It's obviously nothing more than a bit of not very cute marketing.

I have my everday car insured with Elephant and my "new" Porsche 944 I've just insured with Footman & James on a classic car insurance, which is a good story.....
I rang them on Tuesday afternoon to get a quote, spoke to a very helpful gentleman and gave him all my details and he quoted me £200 fully comp (that's half my normal insurance anyway!!), he then said he'd made a mistake and said it was actually £150!! I couldn't believe it, my insurance for any car has never been that low (I'm 28),
Anyway, I called back later in the afternoon to confirm the insurance, spoke to a young women, quoted the reference number and said I want to go ahead with that insurance. Anyway, she said they couldn't offer it, as they don;t insure under 30s on any Porsche for a classic car insurance!! I said no-one said that earlier and they were more than happy to quote, anyway, cut a long story sideways they agreed to honour the quote but said it's only for 12 months and they can't renew it!! This made me laugh even more, as I'm 29 this November, so by the time the insurance runs out I'll only be six weeks away from 30, but she still said no, they won't renew!
Anyway, try Footman & James and you might get some idiot giving you a good price, I did!!
Alternatively, with Elephant, if you tell them you're selling your car and put your "new" car as the main car they'll let you insure your "old" car on a 28 day policy indefinitely, it's worked for me.
