Please forgive my ignorance on this.. Does a new Porker come with mats in the front foot wells? I don't recall these in any sort of spec. Should I know better?

I bet not. and you know how the marketing men would justify this ommission?

"our cars, although mass produced are designed to be as bespoke to an individual purchasers needs as possible. As such we offer a wide range of options, combinations and facilitations to ensure that no one Porsche is the same and if necessary, would allow a discerning buyer to specify savannah leather with pink floor mats if that was their requirement...."

Thanks for the replies. I'll give the OPC a ring now and get the mats added to the spec.. What joy - more cash on a car that's still not built!
Cheers

My OPC didn't charge but did say it was a bone of contention between dealers and Stuttgart as apparently it is a recent policy change from the Fatherland.

Come to think of it they then did drastically lower the price of the trade in vehicle so perhaps I did pay for those floor mats...

Also they had "front lip painted in vehicle colour" as a no-charge option. I included it. Car turned up. They wanted £146 for "front lip painted in vehicle colour". I disputed, their paper work agreed with my recollection of what was spoken about and on the order 4 months ago, but they still wanted paying. I growled somewhat, they said they would then sort out.... "and can we have £85 for floormats". Fortunately they had written that down on a piece of paper in their files (on the desk), and highlighted it, so I just had to point

Not the sort of nitpicking sh*te you should have to face on cars of this value. TVR purchasing experience was much better for tiny things like this.
