ANY DIFFERENCE IN PERFORMANCE OF GTO 3 & GTO3r

I am hopefully in the market for a second hand Noble M12
can any of you guy's tell what is the differance in performance
between GTO 3 & GTO 3R

What is 0-60 & top speed please.

I currently have a Moraro VXR 6.0 litre 2005 14500 mile
17 months old, but I've always wanted a Noble

- No noticable difference in performance (same mechanicals)

- Noble says 3.7secs but expect closer to 4secs in the real world (assuming you like your clutch and diff!) / top speed - 170-ish (plenty enough). Note that the M12 is designed for (and is a master in) track work and not balls-out high top speed.

There are loads of subsequent owner M12's to choose from these days - good luck!

I had a HSV GTS-R for 4 years , longest I've ever owned a car, fantastic, but wanted a Noble from the first time I drove one ,which unfortunately coincided with the birth of my first child! I kept my 3R for the shortest I've ever owned a car (9 months)not for any reason other than I wasn't bloody using the thing.I've now had a complete change of plan, with a van left at work so now I can have what I bloody well want to use very day. At the moment the VXR500 is favourite(or a 4200GT) but if a black, silver wheeled M400 came along at the right time and price I'll be buying it.
Oh sorry, in answer to your question,,,,,,,GTO-3 or 3R? they are both fast!!

same engine - but most 3's have a 5 speed box and most 3r's have the 6 speed box

6 speed box is best - less prone to failure

its the R thats the difference

In the US the 3 in base configuaration was rated at 310hp. The stock 3R is rated at 352hp.

That difference was only a new map.
