I may be in the minority but anyway: I drove the hard-topped TSO last year and was not impressed with anything other than the straight line drive and massive torque - turn the wheel and you're in Twilight Zone territory - this grand tourer should not be compared to an M12 in any chart/table/discussion - IMHO.

But hey, we buy/drive cars for illogical reasons Captain!

Was'nt that the car Joust bought and returned as it was a bag of censored ?

Can't see it's appeal to be honest. Looks very dated.

Reports seem to suggest the 997TT is even more sterile than the 996TT. It's possible to be too efficient...

I had a run in a cayman the other day, and I have to say I thought it was a cracking little car.

Nice engine, no head nodding like a 911 and very satisfying.

Perhaps there lies the future ?

I can't help as I did own a TS500 which is unrelated DNA wise to the GT.

Whilst I've driven the TSO GT, like Rob, it was way before prodrive finalised the steering and suspension, and I've yet to drive the new one.

As there have been signficant changes I'd suggest you ring them up and ask for a test drive, as anything else said will be pure speculation.
