Has anyone replaced the fuel injection system with a 4 carb setup? Dellortos or Webbers? Any problems? Where did the manifold come from? Was it worth the effort and expense? Thanks. Joe

Gary (garfy's v8s) is a 4.6 and has an edelbrook/holley set up. Looks absolutely lovely as well....Lots of gurgling and intake snorty noises as well.

I'm sure he'll be along in a bit...

Not done a 4 carb set up ,but have a 4 barrell carb set up on a MGBGT, the Eidelbrock (Webber) is I beleive the better option as it can be rejetted in situ and you can get a quite comprehensive jetting kit to play about with.
The dual plane Performer series manifolds seem to have a good reputation but I am currently using an Offenhouser as thats what I had the Holley on. The offenhauser sits slightly higher but I wouldnt have thought that an issue on the TVR.
I think if I already had a fuel injection set up I would stick with it, its more manageable and I reckon you might have some issues with the ecu controlling the ign relative to fuelling ,unless you are going back to std dizzy, not sure but food for thought.
