996 GT3RS noise level advice
Discussion
Hi All,
I'm seriously considering buying a 996 GT3 RS early next year for some trackday fun (and dogging obviously).
As I live quite close to Goodwood it would be nice to be able to stretch its legs there once in a while. Does anyone know if the car will run there ok on a 105db day ?
Ta very much.

Thanks chaps, much appreciated.
Any reason why the 997 RS is going to be so much louder? I've seen 108db being quoted on this forum. Is this correct ?

That is correct, yes... Info came from Porche GB at a meeting we (Titanic GT3) attended. The word is though that drive by is much less noisey. A couple of guys on here have seen Walters GT3 at the ring and said that it wasn't any louder than a 996.
