Just wondering when everyone's going to be receiving their GT3s. Evo seems to say that they're being released in September so has anyone got theirs already or do they know when they will... Can't wait to see them on the roads, and the tracks!

There were some initial delays, but the new GT3 should now be in production.

Someone with an insight to the factory should be able to tell. Anyone collecting a Porsche this month should also be able to find out.

UK production and deliveries commence next month, although I would imagine that that first cars will be destined for the press.

Initial road tests might be on German registered lhd examples, with UK rhd tests following later this year. It does mean that many GT3 tests will take place in winter, when perhaps conditions, such as the Top Gear circuit, could be "rather moist".

First at my OPC and told last week that car scheduled for build third week in Octoberbounce - but not absolutely carved on stone yet fingers crossed! Why do I always get my new cars when my local roads are just about to become covered in crap for four or five months!

That's one of the reasons I've chosen a Nov spec/Feb build/April delivery. Plus my Birthday is in April and its my birthday present to me! An added (small) bonus is that it'll be an 07 plated car.

Nope, and nope.

Can't see it being worth 30k on top of mine. Silly money for (admittedly nice) new exterior with effectively the same engine.

400ish, dynoed at about 350rwhp. I know the new car has 415ish but my point was it doesn't seem enough of a difference to go shelling out that kind of cash. Then again I haven't driven one yet!
