The guys from the top 12 runnoff (www.top12runoff.co.uk/) were at the Doune hillclimb today, rather than some more boring pics of 'a car on a track' I though I'd try something different . . . slow shutter speeds and fisheye lenses . . .

And even the big boys make mistakes when trying hard

Large parts of Doune are under tree cover, it was raining and dull - the pictures capture standing in the drizzle watching V10, ex F1, single seaters blast past at 100mph+ only 10 feet away ;-)

Doune can be difficult to get pictures at! Like you said a LOT is under cover and quite dark, and the cars are on you and past before you know it!

Great venue though, some of the faster guys graze that wall on the turns at over 100mph! I actually planned to go up and watch this but woke up 10am, turned off alarm then woke up again at 1:30! paperbag

hmmm . . . they look flat as a pancake on this monitor . . . I think I've just about had enough of my old CRT . . . time for a new monitor that looks the same every time you switch it on ;-(

they look fine for me, the orange and yellow of the cars are very vibrant.

I like the first two.
The second shot is made by the sparks skippig around behind the car.
