Door lock actuator

My drivers door lock is not working, does anyone know what car the actuator is from and part numbers if possible?? Would ring Noble but it's Sunday!!

Are you sure it is the actuator and not that the mechanical linkage is slipping?

The linkage block was the problem when my passenger door refused to lock. After removing the door trim it is quite obvious which it is. Took me about 30 mins to fix myself, once I had worked out how to remove the door trim.

Thanks, i have had the door card off and looked at the block, Assuming it is the block the two wires join in with 2 screws in that is ok. The annoying thing was that with the card off I gave everyting a bit of a tug and it worked fine. Put it all back together tried to lock and it didn't work.

I am fairly sure it is the actuator.

Joust, thanks I had a look at the link when removing the door card and it came in very handy. FYI, not sure if it is the same on all but on my 2.5 No67 luckily I did not have to remove the far wing nut (I had no chance of reaching it), It simply held the pocket to the card rather than the card to the door.
Possibly a mod Noble added!!

Do you have a multimeter? If so, put it across that block and hit the lock button. You should see 12V.

When mine stopped working I found that the spade connector on the actuator where it joins the main loom wasn't quite pushed home. From memory it is about half way down the door (near a cable tie).
On mine you could see the wires on the actuator and the ones going into the door (hinge side) were different colors and therefore must be joined.
Hope that is all it is, as it is a 30 second job once the door skin is off.
