After being on the board for a good few months and keeping my eyes open for the spec I wanted plus looking at a few dogs, I finally picked up my 1st Porsche on Friday.

996 C4S in Arctic Silver with Black, has all the toys such as PCM2, Bose, Telephone prep, Switchable Pipes, Carbon Pack, Aluminium kit and City Boy Red Seat Belts.

Has had the RMS replaced and under Porsche Warranty.

After owning 4 M3'S on the trot I thought it would be similar...how wrong I was.

It feels so much more special and goes where you point it where as the M3 was a bit or a barge.

Plus insurance was the same at £1100 a year which is not bad considering I am 25.

If so see me around the Bucks and Berks area give me a thumbs up

Cheers Matt

I think it's because I live in East London.

One end of the street is like Beverly Hills, the other is like Little Bangladesh!!

Welcome M8, good choice.

Vesuvius: I'm paying £900 for 2 cars on a combined policy. 996 C2, GT3 Kit, plenty of bits all declared and a diesel Megane as the second car. I've just gone 27. eek

Insured with Tesco....and have been for years.

Went round to my mums house last night as she wanted to see it.

Her d#ckhead boyfriend came out with the remark '' Oh practical to with four seats'' and '' How do you get in the boot'' Looking at rear spoiler for boot release.

Because you drive a tip and are therefore a pansy?

PS. I'm on £1500 a year at 35 with 17 years no claims & clean licence. Apparently I live in sh*tsville. But hey, commuting's a doddle!
