I'd give the father and the son and the holy ghost a lift, but I'm coming down, rather than going up!.... unless you come up to my place and then I can take you chaps down... not that makes any economical sense... lol

Normally there's 3-6 who don't post on PH, I'm sure Tony wil have the numbers.

The offical 'club' has another run on the same day (I think) and may meet up later at Austecs. Even if they could they may not join the convoy anyway as they are now under strict instructions to avoid Tony and his 'gang' as they drive too fast and are not teamy enough rolleyeshehe.
See ya sunday..........

That aint so Harry, sorry to disagree. we've no "strict instructions"???
When I bought my TVR, funnily enough, I aspired to also be in the TVR car club also (as the guy who made my car also made the club), whats the harm in it!? Nothing stopped me putting my foot down on our first run out, I just enforced a correct convoy rule and we all kept together for 200 miles!
Nothing wrong with just being in a splinter group, just goes to show how tight some people are to part with less than £3 for a TVR dedicated magazine. (go on slag it off all you want, you usually do!)

Easy tiger............

Keep it clean and above the belt there Woody, I'm not in the UK next week, I'm out ensuring we have a future .
I've never mentioned 3 squid is too much for anything, FFS its less than a gallon of petrol, find or quote one instant were I have slagged the club off confused.
To be honest I'm not sure why you've felt the need to vent your spleen this way. If I see you on sunday we'll have a chat to sort this sorry thing out, failing that I'll hook up with you in work the following week.

Harry, didnt mean to sound off...
I don't know what you mean by the "strict instructions etc" thats where I thought you were taking the pee . I just dont like the 'club' being laughed at in any way shape or form.
So tell me, someone, why has the South Hants got a big splinter group?
Hopefully Me and Mandy can eventually welcome you all back to THE Club We've got plans u wont imagine
Call me if you have time next week Harry.
If any other Pro PH guys would like a chat about the club feel free to call me, we have big ears

its gotta be said sorry, I tried to approach the ph "leader " a few times before i became "leader" of the hants tvrcc, to try and work out something amicabally, but got no absolute response.

Qusetion...is the point of being in ph to get a more powerful car??? why? aint tvrs big enough??? i got 175 round a bend in some other country the other week, isnt that fast enough without adding race heads to it!!??? or is it just a lonely thing?

At long last, you get a reply, i have said many times i`m not a keyboard warrior, i say what i think, face to face, but instead of private cryptic E-mails, i will have my say for all to read
I wish you all the best in your role as RO it is obviously what you wanted all along, why you never just came out with it months ago, i don`t know? As you know i was arranging runs for members and non members for the last 4 years, these runs where always fast road runs, and where in addition to the official TVRCC runs, this won`t change because you and Mandy voted yourselves as RO`s O.K.If you want to call this a splinter group go ahead. What you will have found out by now is the the car is what we have in common, and my runs accommodate, people with the same outlook, they don`t want to go bowling,do treasure hunts or stay in £100 a night hotels with people you have nothing in common with apart from the car.
I started the convoys up to the Hen and Chicken again about 4 or 5 years ago, your ploy to "dis courage non-members" from the meet and the official site,(stupid threads about free-view) won`t stop me from meeting my friends who happen to own a TVR.
I told you my thoughts on the way the region and club was run in a private conversation
I didn`t expect you to try and use that information in a "character assassination" on me on your Club web site,(yet another pointless thread other "pipe and slippers members" then had there say, hence my note on a thread on one of the runs i arranged) this was brought to my attention by another "free-viewer" character assassination where his words by the way.
I don`t have an issue with any one who wants to be a member of the club, when have i ever said to the contrary? My opinion is that the club don`t offer value for money. Sprint has no technical data, and is mainly adverts which get monotonous after a few months, it has articles about other peoples cars, which like other peoples kids and holiday snaps are pretty boring ,again after a few issues, i would sooner stick £30 of optimax in my car, and arrange a run for the troops.
Any way stop being obsessed in what i and the others are doing and carry on arranging runs for your members(instead of gate craching other regions runs )and don`t try and make it into a competion because i`m not interested, by the way the most i had for one of my runs was 69
Oh and think about your reply before posting,
Oh and i still havn`t heard about the speed bump claim for you info,
I was up at 6am this morning and i`m knackard so good night.
Tony
