...given the sunny week-end and the four weeks I had my car without ever really driving it I am craving a drive to the country side tomorrow outside jams, speed-bumps & roundabout...

driving

As this will be a first-timer I wonder what the quickest sensible way out of London's SW3 might be? Any suggestions appreciated!!

that's a very valid question. to be fair any nice place would be ok provided it is at the end of a long windy uncongested and little monitored road...

ideally somewhere where I can at least pretend the place was the reason for the trip..

Kings Road>Fulham Broadway>North End Road>A4

Alternatively Fulham Broadway>Wandsworth Bridge Road>Armoury Way/Wandsworth One Way>Up the hill to Putney>Upper Richmond Road>Rocks Lane>Castlenau>Onto the A4 at Hammersmith

Jobs a goodun.

A3>>>M3>>>A272. (great driving road) if it's empty.
