993 - problems getting hood up
Discussion
A problem has developed on the electrics for my roof - it goes down at the touch of the button, but when it comes to putting it up, usually when it starts to rain, the switch doesnt work
By tapping the relay under the glove compartment, it starts working again, but the next time i need the hood up quickly, its knackered again!
Any pointers to remedy problem????

Well whichever relay you tap to get it going would be the one to replace. Sounds like the internal contacts have aged. Most relays are only a few quid.
Checking the contacts at the same time would make sense. They're usually female spade connectors that are a doddle for anyone with the right crimp tool to replace if they have burned out.

Surely it'll be a standard Bosh or similar NO relay that can be bought from anywhere for a tenner?
