The colour is slate grey metallic with natural leather inside. It is an awesome piece of kit. I have done the first 1000 miles from Denmark across Germany to the UK this week-end and for those of you that have put down orders there is really something to look forward to. I opened her up after the first 500 km to Hamburg and on the Autobahn this thing kills absolutely everything in its path. Especially the mid-range accelleration is truly amazing leaving other cars for dead. It is a manual which is so much btter than my previous 996 TipS.

Car looks great...i have to say though that a manual 996tt does 95% of what you are saying and they are deamed to be lardy understeering barges by most Porsche fans on this forum!.

Regarding your understeering 996TT comment you're correct but it can be sorted with £300. Voilá a new car arises,

My boss got his 997tt at the weekend.

He says its the best car he has ever driven by quite some margin and he has had his fair share of exotica on which to base that opinion.

Good colour choice! Is Slate Grey a standard 997TT colour or is it special order as on the 996 TT?
