Its official - most loved car in the UK is a Boxster..!!
Discussion
According to a survey conducted by Which? magazine, the Boxster is the UK's most loved car with 98% of owners saying they would definitely recommend it to a friend and motorists praised every aspect of its driving performance.
Confirms probably what most Boxster drivers already knew...

Have to agree. My 2.7 was a cracker and the buyer the bargain of the year! It was the cornering "chuckability" I loved.....
I was hooning in some quality tarmac, country windy roads in Kerry over the week end and did miss my Boxster S at times to be honest.
The 911 is a better car, but to have the same fun, pushing the engine and pulling 3rd and 4th, one find himself at speed that are way higher than doing the same thing with the Boxster S, but not necessarily having more fun.
The faster car, the more capable is not systematically the more enjoyable car in certain situations.
I prefer the 911 on a track, or for long journeys, and love it on country roads, but in certain cases, I would not mind getting my Boxster S back, cracking car, great balance and poise on the road.
If I could in the future continue 911 ownership, and buy a Boxster for the wife, I have no doubt that I will drive the Boxster often too, with great pleasure.
Different car, but great car.
IMO.

I drive a 997C2S myself but unlike a lot of 911 drivers I don't look at the Boxster as being a cheap alternative.
I think its a cracking drive and good to see it being recognised.
The 911 wasn't included in the survey but I wonder what the percentage of owners recommending the car to others would've been - I'd say 95%+ at least.

I can understand that, but how would you ensure that no-one thought that you owned it when you were in it. Only on solution to my mind. Once saw a guy in a Boxster with the number plate HER5. Sorted.

I am at ease with my masculinity, I am not trying to make a statement on that level with the car I drive......

Won't you need a hole in the top so people can see your hair cut?

It's a well known fact that poor people cherish what they allocate the little money they have to.
Good for them.
No, really.
Mate - you are an ignorant fool. Grow up.
