996 with PCM - what's the layout?

In a 996 fitted with PCM2 (02/03 era), am I correct in assuming that underneath the PCM module, there is normally a 'tray' and then underneath that the air con unit? Thanks

Yes you are correct......unless the option box for CD storage was ticked. If so you will have four CD holders in the place where you would normally place fags, sunnies and a moby.

Strangely, whomever originally specified CD storage eventhough the stereo head unit had a cassette!!

Strange, I have a MY'02 996 and there is no space between the satnav screen and the air-con-unit below.
