FERRARI Insurance / specialists
Discussion
Hi all,
Well if I can sell the Chim fairly soon I should be making the leap into Ferrari ownership. Hooray!
Few questions for you guys: my budget should be around the early £20k's which means I'll be looking for a nice 308 (don't like the 348, 328 too expensive), ie the prettiest car of its generation! Nice.
Insurance is proving fun though, I've been quoted far more to insure a 308 than a V8 Esprit or Cerbera - can anyone recommend a Ferrari (or other) insurance specialist who may do me a reasonable deal?
Obviously I'll want to have it inspected before purchase - any recommendations?
I live in Docklands - any good local(ish) specialists (Essex?) for maintainance?
Oh, and does anyone know of any good cars out there? Autotrader seems a bit sparse, Verdi's seem a bit expensive - I've considered buying abroad but I'd rather not have the hassle....

My Ferrari is insured through Footman James.
It's a 1975 GT4 and it cost me £360 fully comp for 6,000 miles a year (No NCB either!)
