Where are all the 928 owners?

I own a Corvette C5 but have always liked the 928 S2 or the 928 GTS. Why do I never see anyone posting on the Porsche page about these cars? I have even been considering buying a GTS manual!!!! Don't tell the Corvette guys though, I'll probably not be allowed back on our forum!!!

We appear from time to time, usually when people ask what to replace a 944 with. Quite a few PH-ers have had 928's and they are generally commented upon favourably, there's a thread somewhere about being four up at 150mph through the black forest...

I can't remember seeing a 928 horror story on PH, although market sentiment is that they are heavy and a financial time bomb waiting to happen. My guess is that most negative comment is from people that have never lived with one.

You'll be lucky if you can find a manual GTS as most GTS's are auto's. There are many more manual GT's and earlier models. There's not a huge difference in manual GT's and GTS's, although GTS's are rumoured to have oil usage and bore porous bore problems.
