I've managed to crank up 17,000.00 miles in my Tuscan 2 over the past 12 months, surely this is a record.

Well done that man. Only 12,000 miles in my Tuscan two in twelve months (or it will be in October), but its pretty good going when you consider that I mainly drive it on Sundays.

Good to hear: the previous Sagaris racked up 20K in 10 months, prior to it's demise. The replacement is heading that way, 27/07 had 2,600, now up to 4,400.
That customer based S6 engine development programme worked!!

It's good to hear of people USING their TVR's.

Great Stuff!

If more people did this or even half this I be the engine would fair better - regular miles always helps.

Yeah, but how many rebuilds did you manage in that time?

I've already got it on.

I've managed 12,000 in just under 6 months along with 4 track days and the old girl is hanging together well.

Ditto, just think of the pleasure, and not the bills..spin spin
Not really talking like for like comparing a low stressed Land Rover lump and an SP6 that has a history of not lasting - that is the point here.....

That is not the point here, your comments are damaging - we are commenting on the high mileage of our TVR's over the past year and not the negative spoil your comments add.

What did you manage in your previous Tusc?

As an aside, do you TVR owners ever get to the point where you think "Oh, I won't take it out today 'cos I've done too many miles this month already"...

...as in, not wanting to put the miles on it to keep it's resale value higher?

Usually do almost 2000 a month, though I do try to catch the train to work when I can.
