Brighton/Sussex independent servicing?

I'm moving to Brighton soon and although my Griff is not needing a service yet I'm interested to hear peoples recommendations for an indie in the area. I am aware of Austec BYTW.

I'll start the Fernhurst ball rolling. They are in the village of Fernhurst, just north of Midhurst and you also get to drive the A272 on the way.

I bought my Chim from them and still have it serviced there. Good work done and a loan car (not TVR sadly).

IMHO If your going to go that far from Brighton then just a little further (approx 5 miles) takes you to Dave Batty at "The Garage" - an Indie TVR Specialist of some repute. I've used Dave for Servicing and Austec for Repairs/Mods and both are excellent.

Add Fernies to this and your spoilt for choice really.

Also a enjoyable blast down the A272 (and then a bit back up the A3) is APM Automotive. Andy looks after my Cerb and a number of friend's too.

As a former Griff owner in Brighton I tried a few of the local(-ish) outfits both indie and MD. The only ones to get my recommendation are Austec.

I'd go for David Batty and The Garage, if you're not going to go to Austec. Both Excellent service.

When I had my Griff I used the garage in Crawley that gets a lot of recommendations on here. At first all was OK but in the end I had some minor problems with them and generally found them fairly expensive. If you want details then mail me but safe to say that by the time I sold the car I didn't really trust them and had David Batty been more convenient I'd have used him more.
