Saw one at Ring last week. Looks great apart from fake intakes on the rather Max Powery front grill. Porsche put fake exhaust tips on 996 so I suppose we shouldn't be too surprised.

I think you're right.

Even the press have only had a taster, with early pre-production examples.

A lot of the cars that have shown up at the Nurburgring are not genuine 997GT3s. Many are 997s with aftermarket or tuning kits.

Was a Manthey private trackday, they had the GT3, TV crew filming it going round etc. so pretty sure it was real deal.

silver looks really dull on the new gt3..IMHO

didnt look too bad on the previous models.

Actually, I think Silver looks stunning. Yes, there are more 'vivid' colours, but if you want to stay a bit more low key, then I think Silver is a great choice.
