Three weeks out of the 996 turbo....
Discussion
...owing to a holiday. Back in it today, pouring rain. Three weeks driving a nissan micra 1.0 and a fiat Doblo diesel. Can anyone drive one of these in the rain without pulling the smile muscle*? I sure can't. Anyone at Snetterton tomorrow for the GT3 racing?

*Yes I know that it drives itself unlike a GT3 which requires skill, but I still enjoyed it, speaking as a lesserwheelsman.

Can`t agree either , turbo is not the animal it used to be, but because you`re going faster ( especialy in the wet ) than a gt3 , a high level of concentration/ skill is still required.

You drove a Nissan Micra and a Fiat Doblo Diesel on Holiday? Gosh, what sort of holiday was that? (I'm thinking some kind of machochistic self-denial, character-building thing for car enthusiasts, but doubting that such a thing can exist.)
Oli.
Oli.
Just a family holiday to France. I was driving my (late) father's micra a week before and a week after owing to logistics.
First drive in France for ages and I'd forgotten how good the roads are. We're booking up for a long weekend in a few weeks just the missus and I. That'll be in the Porsche.
