Ignition Switch Wiring
Discussion
Hi all,
Is there anyone who's knowledgeable on their wiring ?
Just in the last throws of getting my 's' back on the road and have removed a defunct alarm system fitted by the original owner. Problem is, it was custom wired into the ignition switch and I'm now a couple of 'ignition switch' wires short, and without a wiring diagram !
I have a red wire and yellow wire connected which are part of the original loom but look's like there's a black, and a blue/black that connect to the remaining terminals ?. Can't recall the terminal numbers as printed on the switch but the yellow wire is in the 4'o'clock position, and the red at 11'o'clock....as viewed from the passenger seat !
Can anyone advise as to what colour wires and whereabouts they should be connected onto the ignition switch !?
Cheers
Wayne.

i've an S3, the wiring seems similar to that of an old sierra I have but I'd rather know 100% the correct wiring before trying to 'turn the old girl over'. The alarm cut into some of the heavier gauge wires so starter/ ignition circuit interrupt seems likely - cheers for having a look.
