Yes - it's true (but not quite as good as it sounds.......)
I'm having a garage clearout, and I've got a pair of worn tyres to fit a GT2 (996) 315/30 18's I believe.
They're Michelin Pilots - N rated, with approx 3mm tread left (so, legal).
I could do with the space and I thought it sacrilege to take them over to the local tip.
So, anyone with a need (trackdays etc), and who actually owns a GT2, can have them.
You'll have to come and pick them up tho'.... I'm near Maidstone, Kent.....

I have just such a table (on a 285/30ZR18) from my 993tt

Just go to your local glazier and get a circle of toughened glass of 19" diameter and it sits in the bead nicely
